IO4 aims to provide teachers with an easy-access guideline on how to manage effectively the learners in an online class. Its sharing of best practice will improve teachers' competence in online teaching, while ensuring that individual pockets of knowledge generated during the COVID-19 lockdown are retained and disseminated on a wide basis. This will reduce the number of teachers having to "reinvent the wheel" through trial and error due to a lack of clear guidance. Specifically, IO4 guidelines are focusing on: - gathering best practice tips, guidelines and recommendations for reducing the "human" challenges of digital teaching for both teachers and students; - consider cultural and psychological elements around classroom management (in comparison to IO3's technical guidelines), such as online meeting fatigue, maintaining motivation and engagement in a digital environment.
