IO1 will build on existing project findings and expand them through further research to identify teacher’s needs and gaps regarding online teaching. Specifically, focusing on three main areas:
- the technical skills needed to transfer classroom-based teaching to an online format;
- the classroom management awareness needed to keep online teaching engaging for students;
- digital safety concerns that have arisen from teachers' experience of online teaching in 2020.The Framework is in essence a syllabus or competence benchmark to be followed by schools, organisations or other institutions etc. to ensure teachers are as well prepared as possible for online teaching going forward.
